KITTITAS COUNTY <br />DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br />AGENDA DATE: January 21, 2020. <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Set a Public Hearing on February 4, 2020 at <br />2pm to consider Amending Kittitas County Ordinance <br />2019-012 <br />BACKGROUND: Recently, the Board of County Commissioners amended <br />KCC 10.06.050 and 10.07.060 imposing parking fines in <br />the HYAK LAMRID as Ordinance 2019-012. The <br />Prosecuting Attorney's Office (at the request of the <br />Sheriff's Office) desires amending Ordinance allowing an <br />appeal to the parking fine. <br />Public Works desires increasing the no parking zone along <br />East Hyak Drive (MP 0.438 to MP 0.569) in the same <br />amending action. A public hearing is required to amend <br />Ordinance 2019-012. <br />INTERACTION: Public Works, Sheriffs Office and Prosecuting Attorney's <br />Office. <br />RECOMMENDATION: Schedule a public hearing for February 4"', 2020 at 2:00 pm <br />in the Commissioners Auditorium. <br />HANDLING: Return one original to Public Works <br />ATTACHMENTS: Notice of public hearing <br />LEAD STAFF: Mark R.
