AGENDA STAFF REPORT
AGENDA DATE: January 21, 2020.
ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Set a Public Hearing on February 4, 2020 at
2pm to consider Amending Kittitas County Ordinance
2019-012
BACKGROUND: Recently, the Board of County Commissioners amended
KCC 10.06.050 and 10.07.060 imposing parking fines in
the HYAK LAMRID as Ordinance 2019-012. The
Prosecuting Attorney's Office (at the request of the
Sheriff's Office) desires amending Ordinance allowing an
appeal to the parking fine.
Public Works desires increasing the no parking zone along
East Hyak Drive (MP 0.438 to MP 0.569) in the same
amending action. A public hearing is required to amend
Ordinance 2019-012.
INTERACTION: Public Works, Sheriffs Office and Prosecuting Attorney's
Office.
RECOMMENDATION: Schedule a public hearing for February 4"', 2020 at 2:00 pm
in the Commissioners Auditorium.
HANDLING: Return one original to Public Works
