AGENDA STAFF REPORT
AGENDA DATE: January 21, 2020
ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Set a Public Hearing for February 4, 2020 at 2pm to
consider an irrigation franchise with Robert A. Gregerich on South
Thorp Highway.
BACKGROUND: Robert A. Gregerich has applied for an irrigation franchise to
replace an existing irrigation pipe that has failed due to age. The
proposed franchise is to relocate and install a 10" irrigation pipe
for 240' along South Thorp Highway. Upon approval of the
irrigation franchise, a right of way permit will be required to
conduct the proposed work.
The Franchise Application is complete and the appropriate
application fee has been collected.
INTERACTION: Public Works
RECOMMENDATION: Set a public hearing on February 4, 2020 at 2:00 pm and advertise
accordingly, to consider an irrigation franchise Robert A.
Gregerich on South Thorp Highway.

Pursuant to KCC 15A.03.040, upon receipt of the application, Kittitas County Public Works will
contact the applicant to schedule a meeting with the Director of Public Works and/or the County
Engineer to discuss terms and conditions of franchise agreement and schedule a Public Hearing for
consideration of the franchise agreement by the Board of County Commissioner's.
