AGENDA DATE: December 3, 2019
ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Approve a Resolution to Award Bid for Purchase of a
Water Truck for the Kittitas Valley Event Center
BACKGROUND: The Kittitas Valley Event Center has been awarded a County Lodging
Tax Grant for an approved list of items to help enhance arena operations
at the fairgrounds. A water truck is on the list of approved items and has
been a needed asset for quite some time to help with the maintenance and
quality of our arena soil.
A Call for Bids for Bid Number: KVEC2019-01 was approved on
November 19, 2019 and sealed bids were received and opened on
November 27, 2019 at 10:00am in the Armory of the Kittitas Valley
Event Center. It is recommended we award the bid to L&M Truck Sales,
Inc. as the lowest responsible bidder in the total amount of $76,622.25.
