AGENDA DATE: December 312019
ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Approve Interagency Agreement between Kittitas
County Sheriff s Office and Washington Traffic Safety Commission.
BACKGROUND: The Kittitas County Sheriff's Office has worked with the Washington
Traffic Safety Commission in the past. The purpose of this Agreement is to provide
overtime funding for high visibility enforcement (HVE), traffic safety emphasis patrols
and related activities as outlined in Exhibit A, in support of Target Zero priorities.
INTERACTION: This interagency agreement was reviewed and approved by the
Kittitas County Prosecutor's Office.
RECOMMENDATION: Request to Approve Interagency Agreement between Kittitas
County Sheriff's Office and Washington Traffic Safety Commission.
HANDLING: Please return 1 signed original to KCSO. Sheriff's Office to provide a
fully executed Agreement back to the BOCC upon signature by WTSC.
