AGENDA STAFF REPORT
AGENDA DATE: November 19, 2019
ACTION REQUESTED: Request to set a Public Hearing to consider
amending KCC 10.06.050 and 10.07.060 (Towing
and impounding vehicles violating parking
restrictions).
BACKGROUND: Kittitas County Department of Public Works has
continued operational issues due to illegal parking
in the Hyak Estates area. Staff has worked with the
Prosecuting Attorney's office on the proposed code
amendment and is requesting to set a Public
Hearing to consider establishing a parking fine.
INTERACTION:
Public Works
RECOMMENDATION: Set a Public Hearing for December 3, 2019 at 2:00
pm to consider amending KCC 10.06.050 and
10.07.060 "Towing and impounding vehicles
violating parking restrictions".
HANDLING: Return one Notice of Public Hearing to Public
Works

Auditorium, 205 West 5th Avenue, Room 109, Kittitas County Courthouse, Ellensburg, WA to consider amending Kittitas
County Code 10.06.050 and Kittitas County Code 10.07.060 (Towing and impounding vehicles violating parking
restrictions).
