BEFORE THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF. KITTITAS COUNTY, STATE OF WASHINGTON, in the matter
of initiating a county road project designated as:
CRP NO: 298-19 JOB NO: RC1913-I1
IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED that the Vantage Highway Overlay MP 21.25 -MP 27.51
Vantage Highway (MP 21.25 -MP 27.51) received damage to the roadbed during windmill farm installation efforts. Public
Works has annually repaired rutting and asphalt failure since wind farm operations began several years _ago. Work will
include an overlay of hot mix asphalt to provide a structural base for Vantage Highway. A companion project is planned
to replace guardrail in the road segment.

This project is hereby declared to be a public necessity and the Director of Public Works serving as the County Engineer is hereby
ordered and authorized to report and proceed thereon as by law provided. (RCW 36.75.050, 36.80.030, 36.80.070).
IT IS FURTHER RESOLVED that an appropriation from the officially adopted road fund budget and based on the Director of
Public Works' estimate, is hereby made in the amounts and for the purposes shown:
