KITTITAS COUNTY <br />DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br />AGENDA DATE: <br />November 5, 2019 <br />ACTION REQUESTED: <br />Request to Approve the Resolution Authorizing the <br />replacement of the bridge crossing Dickey Creek <br />#16203 on North Fork Teanaway Road MP 2.84- <br />2.85. <br />BACKGROUND: <br />The Dickey Creek Bridge is functionally obsolete <br />and currently load restricted. Funding has been <br />authorized by the Federal Land Access Program for <br />this project in the amount of $3,191,000. Public <br />Works will replace the current bridge with a wider, <br />longer structure that will safely provide access and <br />reduce flood impacts while restoring the natural <br />river process. <br />INTERACTION: <br />Public Works <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Approve the Resolution Authorizing the <br />replacement of the Dickey Creek Bridge #16203. <br />HANDLING: <br />Return one original to Public Works <br />ATTACHMENTS: <br />Resolution, CRP No 295-19 <br />LEAD STAFF: Mark Cook, Director <br />
