ACTION REQUESTED:
Request to Approve the Resolution Authorizing the
replacement of the bridge crossing Dickey Creek
#16203 on North Fork Teanaway Road MP 2.84-
2.85.
BACKGROUND:
The Dickey Creek Bridge is functionally obsolete
and currently load restricted. Funding has been
authorized by the Federal Land Access Program for
this project in the amount of $3,191,000. Public
Works will replace the current bridge with a wider,
longer structure that will safely provide access and
reduce flood impacts while restoring the natural
river process.

BEFORE THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF KITTITAS COUNTY, STATE OF WASHINGTON, in the matter
of initiating a county road project designated as:
CRP NO: 295-19 JOB NO: RC2090-FL
IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED that the Dickey Creek Bridge #16203 Replacement mile post 2.84-2.85; is established.
The Dickey Creek Bridge is functionally obsolete and currently load restricted. The project will replace the bridge with a
wider and longer structure that will safely provide access for all vehicles, bicyclists, and pedestrians, while reducing flood
impacts and restoring natural river processes.

This project is hereby declared to be a public necessity and the Director of Public Works serving as the County Engineer is hereby
ordered and authorized to report and proceed thereon as by law provided. (RCW 36.75.050, 36.80.030, 36.80.070).
IT IS FURTHER RESOLVED that an appropriation from the officially adopted road fund budget and based on the Director of
Public Works' estimate, is hereby made in the amounts and for the purposes shown:
