AGENDA DATE: November 5, 2019
ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Approve a Resolution to Adopt Kittitas County
Public Works Monthly Equipment Rental Rates pursuant to
Revised Code of Washington 36.33A.040 for 2020.
BACKGROUND: Kittitas County Public Works is required to maintain an
equipment rental and replacement fund pursuant to RCW
36.33A.10. Within this fund equipment is rented to other
funds most specifically the road fund. It is required
pursuant to RCW 36.33A.40 that the rates are reviewed and
adopted annually.
INTERACTION: Public Works
RECOMMENDATION: Approve the Resolution to Adopt the Kittitas County Public
Works Monthly Equipment Rental Rates pursuant to
Revised Code of Washington 36.33A.040 for 2020
HANDLING: Return one original to Public Works

RESOLUTION NO. 2019 -
ADOPTING KITTITAS COUNTY PUBLIC WORKS MONTHLY EQUIPMENT
RENTAL RATES PURSUANT TO REVISED CODE OF WASHINGTON 36.33A.040
FOR 2020
WHEREAS: Kittitas County Public Works is required to maintain an Equipment Rental and
Replacement Fund (Fund 501) pursuant to Revised Code of Washington (RCW)
36.33A.10; and
WHEREAS: The basis of Equipment Rental was set to monthly rates per Resolution 2018-086;
and
WHEREAS: Equipment Rental Rates shall be subject to annual review by the Legislative body
pursuant to RCW 36.33A.40; and
WHEREAS: Monthly Equipment Rental Rates for 2020 are hereto attached to this Resolution
as Exhibit "A";
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners, in the
best interest of the public, does hereby adopt the monthly Equipment Rental Rates for 2020
within Kittitas County Fund 501.
