ACTION REQUESTED: Consider approval of a Resolution Authorizing Execution of a Letter of Agency Appointing the Washington State Military Department to Act on Behalf of County as a Limited
Agent.
BACKGROUND: The Washington State Military Department has been acting on behalf of the counties of the State to implement enhanced 911 services. A new network carrier is now underway
and a Letter of Agency is necessary for the Military Department to continue to work on behalf of the County to assist with the network transition.
INTERACTION: The Prosecutor’s office was directed to draft the attached resolution.
RECOMMENDATION: Approve the resolution as attached.
