AGENDA DATE: October 1, 2019
ACTION REQUESTED: Approve the Grant Agreement #K2871 between Kittitas
County and Washington State Department of Agriculture
BACKGROUND: The proposed Grant Agreement #K2871 is between Kittitas
County and Washington State Department of Agriculture
for $150,000.00 with the contract dates 09-30-2019 through
09-29-2022. The application process started in February
2019 requesting the funds from Washington State
Department of Agriculture passed through United States
Department of Agriculture under the FY19 Specialty Crop
Block Grant Program. We received notice on September
18, 2019 that we were awarded the funds.
INTERACTION: The Agreement was reviewed by the Prosecutors office and
the Auditor’s office.
RECOMMENDATION: Approve and authorize Board signature on a Grant
Agreement K2871 between Kittitas County and
Washington State Department of Agriculture
HANDLING: Judy will forward to WSDA for signature
