KITTITAS COUNTY <br />DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br />AGENDA DATE: October 1, 2019 <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Set a Public Hearing to consider the <br />adoption of the Annual Construction Program for <br />2020 and the Six Year Transportation Improvement <br />Program for the Years 2020-2025. <br />BACKGROUND: Public Works has prepared an Annual Construction <br />Program for 2020 and a Six Year Transportation <br />Improvement Program for 2020-2025. <br />Two open houses have been held on September 16, <br />2019 in Lower County and one on September 19, <br />2019 in Upper County to receive public input and <br />comments regarding said plans. No changes to <br />staff's proposals are necessary based on public <br />comment that was received. <br />INTERACTION: Public Works <br />RECOMMENDATION: Set a Public Hearing on October 15, 2019 at 2pm <br />local time to consider adopting the Annual <br />Construction Program for 2020 and the Six Year <br />Transportation Program for the Years 2020-2025 <br />and. <br />HANDLING: Return one (1) original to Public Works <br />ATTACHMENTS: Notice of Public Hearing; Draft 2020 Annual <br />Construction Program; Draft Six Year <br />Transportation Improvement Plan <br />LEAD STAFF: Mark Cook <br />Director of Public Works <br />
