ACTION REQUESTED:
The Board of County Commissioners approves the signature of the Public Health Administrator on the
Benton Franklin Health District and Kittitas County Public Health Department. (Effective dates: July 1,
2019- June 30, 2020)
BACKGROUND:
The purpose of this agreement is to prevent initiation and reduce use of nicotine products among youth
and young adults in the Greater Columbia Accountable Community of Health Region (GCACH), eliminate
exposure to secondhand smoke and vape emissions, and educate communities about Tobacco and
Vape21.
INTERACTION:
Kittitas County Prosecutor’s Office: Reviewed and approved on August 21, 2019.
Kittitas County Auditor’s Office: Reviewed and approved on September 3, 2019.
RECOMMENDATION:
The Board of County Commissioners approves the signature of the Public Health Administrator on the
Benton Franklin Health District and Kittitas County Public Health Department. (Effective dates: July 1,
2019- June 30, 2020)
