AGENDA STAFF REPORT
AGENDA DATE: August 20, 2019
ACTION REQUESTED: Approve & Sign an Addendum to a Lease with
Tyler Glahn for property located on the Kittitas
County Airport, Bowers Field.
BACKGROUND: On September 1, 2017 Kittitas County entered
into a lease with Tyler Glahn for Lots H-34 and
H-35 of the Kittitas County Airport Amended
Site Plan. Recently, the Board of County
Commissioners approved a new lease
template drafted by County Legal Counsel for
staff use reflecting a price increase and
updated language. Tyler Glahn has requested
to amend his current lease to reflect the
changes approved by the Board of County
Commissioners. Additionally, Tyler Glahn is
preparing to build a private hangar on one of
the leased lots.
INTERACTION: Public Works; Tyler Glahn
RECOMMENDATION: Move to approve Lease Addendum with Tyler
Glahn for leased County property located at
the Bowers Field Airport.
HANDLING: Return one original to Public Works
