ACTION REQUESTED:
Request Boards signature on the Professional Service Agreement with Central Paving LLC.
BACKGROUND:
Kittitas County Solid Waste Department in the 2019 budget cycle budgeted to have the parking lot north of
the office removed and repave. The existing parking lot subgrade has failed causing the asphalt to break up.
Bids were solicited off of the small works rooster to remove the asphalt and subgrade and replace with
imported fill and repave.
Central Paving was the lowest responsive bidder an at this time the Solid Waste Department would like to
award the project to Central Paving.
INTERACTION:
Central Paving, Solid Waste, and the Prosecutors Office.
RECOMMENDATION:
Recommend Board signature on the Professional Service agreement with Central Paving.
HANDLING:
Return copy to Solid Waste
