ACTION REQUESTED:
Request Boards approval for the Chairs signature on the Solid Waste Management Community litter
Cleanup Program Agreement.
BACKGROUND:
Kittitas County Solid Waste runs a youth litter crew to clean county roadways and public lands in Kittitas
County. The funding for this program comes from the Department of Ecology Solid Waste Management
Community Litter Cleanup program.
This biennium Kittitas County has been awarded $65,000 to continue running the youth litter crew and to do
community outreach on litter prevention.
At this time I would request Boards approval for the Director of Solid Waste to sign the agreement with the
Department of Ecology.

RECOMMENDATION:
Recommend Boards approval for the Directors signature on the agreement with the Department of Ecology.
