Ruby St., Suite 2, Ellensburg, WA 98926 <br />CDS@CO.KITTITAS.WA.US <br />Office (509) 962-7506 <br />Fax (509) 962-7682 <br /> <br />“Building Partnerships – Building Communities” <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: June 18, 2019 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Requesting approval of an Ordinance adopting the 2017-2037 Comprehensive <br />Plan Periodic Update and associated maps. <br /> <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: The BOCC held an open public hearing on June 3rd at 6:00pm in the BOCC <br />Auditorium for consideration of draft 2017-2037 Comprehensive Plan Periodic <br />Update and associated maps as required by RCW 36.370A. Public oral and written <br />testimony was taking from those persons wishing to be heard regarding the proposed <br />amendments. After deliberation, the board unanimously approved the proposed <br />amendments and instructed County staff to prepare enabling documents for <br />their signature to adopt the 2017-2037 Comprehensive Plan Periodic Update <br />and associated maps. These documents are now attached for your signature. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: Community Development Services, Prosecuting Attorney, and Board of County <br />Commissioners. <br /> <br />ATTACHMENTS: Enabling Ordinance <br /> Comprehensive Plan June 2019 <br /> Associated Maps <br /> <br />STAFF <br />RECOMMENDATION: Adopt the attached Ordinance, Comprehensive Plan and associated maps. <br /> <br />HANLDING: Returned signed Ordinance so staff can provide notice of adoption. <br /> <br />RESPONSIBLE STAFF: Lindsey Ozbolt, Community Development Services Planning Official
