AGENDA STAFF REPORT
AGENDA DATE: June 18, 2019
ACTION REQUESTED: Requesting approval of an Ordinance adopting the 2017-2037 Comprehensive
Plan Periodic Update and associated maps.
BACKGROUND: The BOCC held an open public hearing on June 3rd at 6:00pm in the BOCC
Auditorium for consideration of draft 2017-2037 Comprehensive Plan Periodic
Update and associated maps as required by RCW 36.370A. Public oral and written
testimony was taking from those persons wishing to be heard regarding the proposed
amendments. After deliberation, the board unanimously approved the proposed
amendments and instructed County staff to prepare enabling documents for
their signature to adopt the 2017-2037 Comprehensive Plan Periodic Update
and associated maps. These documents are now attached for your signature.
INTERACTION: Community Development Services, Prosecuting Attorney, and Board of County
Commissioners.
