  <br />  <br />  <br />  <br />PROCLAMATION <br /> <br />“Kathryn Crimp Day” <br />June 25, 2019 <br />2A Girls State Golf Champion <br /> <br />WHEREAS: Kathryn Crimp is a 2019 graduate of Ellensburg High School and has served as a leader <br />amongst the Ellensburg High School Girls Golf team; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS: Kathryn began her passion for golf at the young age of 3, began competing in tournaments <br />at 10 years old, and qualified for State all four years of her high school golf career; <br /> <br />WHEREAS: On Wednesday May 22, 2019 Kathryn had a 1-under par 71 to earn first-place honors in <br />her last high school event with a total score of 146 and become the 2A Girls State Golf <br />Champion at the MeadowWood Golf Course in Spokane, Washington; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS: Kathryn has signed with St. Martin’s College where she will continue her education and <br />play on the school’s golf team; <br /> <br />WHEREAS: Kathryn should be recognized for her hard work, dedication, and love for the sport of golf <br />while representing her teammates, family, Ellensburg High School, and the residents of <br />Kittitas County; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: The Kittitas County Board of Commissioners asks that the <br />citizens of Kittitas County join them in celebrating and honoring Kathryn Crimp and her 2A State Girls <br />Golf Championship Title by Proclaiming June 25, 2019 as “Kathryn Crimp Day” in Kittitas County. <br /> <br />ADOPTED this 18th day of June 2019. <br />THE KITTITAS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br /> <br /> Cory Wright, Chairman <br /> <br /> <br />Attest: Brett Wachsmith, Vice-Chairman <br /> <br /> <br />Julie Kjorsvik, Clerk of the Board Laura Osiadacz, Commissioner
