ANOTICE <br />OF CALL FOR BIDS F'OR WEIHL ROAD IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT <br />WHEREAS: Weihl Road Improvement District No. 2018-01 was formulated by the Kittitas <br />County Board of County Commissioners with Ordinance 2018-020; and <br />\ilHEREAS: The V/eihl Road improvement project is an adopted project on the Public Works <br />2019 arnual construction program; and <br />\ilHEREAS: Public Works has prepared a plans, specification and engineering package for <br />improving Weihl Road for contractor review and bid submittal; and <br />\ilHEREAS: Public Works has prepared an Invitation to Bid and proposes advertising the <br />project in the Daily Journal of Commerce and the local paper of record for two <br />consecutive weeks (06106 and 06/13); <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners, inthe <br />best interest of the public, does hereby issue an Invitation to Bid supporting V/eihl Road <br />Improvements and directs that the project be advertised for two consecutive weeks (06/06 and <br />06113) in the Daily Journal of Commerce and in the local paper of record. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Public'Works is directed to open bids on Thursday, June <br />20,2019 at2:00 PM at the office of the Department of Public Works, 4l I North Ruby Street, <br />Suite l, Ellensburg, V/ashington, to be publicly read aloud after 2:00 PM on Thursday, June 20, <br />2019, in the Department of Public W'orks, Ellensburg, Washington. <br />DATED this 4th day of June,2019, at Ellensburg, Washington. <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />KITTITAS COLINTY, WASHINGTON <br />Cory Wright, Chairman <br />the Board- Julie Kjorsvik <br />Brett W <br />ABSENT <br />n Deputy Clerk of the Board- Mandy Buchholz <br />L aur a O siadacz, C omrrii s sioner
