AGENDA STAFF REPORT
AGENDA DATE: June 4, 2019
ACTION REQUESTED: Request the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) review and
sign a Resolution to correct a scriveners error on Resolution No.
2019-075, allowing an Amendment to Grant Agreement HH-2018-
002 with HopeSource, for the second year funding for the Women’s
Sober House Project (WSHP).
BACKGROUND: The BOCC approved and signed an Agreement with HopeSource for
the WSHP, a two year project which was effective January 1, 2018
and scheduled to terminate on December 31, 2019; and signed a
Resolution to allocate the second year funding.
INTERACTION: The Resolution No. 2019-075 has an error in the dollar amount in the
next to the last paragraph. The total is correct, but $54,212.00 should
be $52,212.00 (plus 5%) for a total of $54,822.00. The attached
amendment is correct.
RECOMMENDATION: Review and sign a Resolution to correct a scriveners error on
Resolution No. 2019-075 and Amendment to Grant Agreement HH-
2018-002 with HopeSource for the second year funding for the
Women’s Sober House Project in the amount of $54,822.00
($52,212.00 plus 5% annual increase of $2,610.00).
