RESOLUTION NO. 2019-0 7 :;-
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AMENDMENT TO HOMELESS
HOUSING GRANT AGREEMENT HH-2018-002.
WHEREAS, The Kittitas County Board of Commissioners and HopeSource had
previously entered into a Homeless Housing Program Grant Agreement, and
WHEREAS, the Agreement is fl two year Agreement, the second year funding
being contingent upon meeting certain criteria, and
WHEREAS, the Kittitas County Board of Commissioners having reviewed the
quarterly reports for the Agreement HH-2018-002 and having determined the required
criteria has been met, and
WHEREAS, The Kittitas County Board of Commissioners has previously
determined that the purposes of RCW 36.22.179 are consistent with the needs of certain
members of the Kittitas County Community, and
WHEREAS, The Kittitas County Board of Commissioners has previously
determined that HopeSource is a proper entity by which to carry out the purposes of
RCW 36.22.179, and
WHEREAS, The Kittitas County Board of Commissioners and HopeSource wish to
continue to cooperate in doing so, and
WHEREAS, amendment of HH2018-002 to allocate the second year funding of
$55,212.00 plus 5% annual increase for a total of $54,822.00 as allowed by its
provisions will enable that cooperation,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AND IT IS HEREBY ORDERED, that the
Amendment Agreement pursuant to Section 10.8 of Grant HH2018-001 is hereby
adopted upon signature by the parties.

RESOLUTION
AMENDMENT TO HOMELESS HOUSING PROGRAM GRANT AGREEMENT
This Amendment Agreement effective as of January 1, 2019, is made by and between
Kittitas County (hereinafter "the County") and HopeSource, a Washington nonprofit
corporation ("Recipient"); for the Women's Sober House Project (WSHP). The County
and Recipients agree as follows:
That the Homeless Housing Program Grant Agreement (Grant Award HH-2018-002)
("Agreement") previously entered between the parties for the period ending December
31, 2019 is amended pursuant to Section 10.8 of that Agreement. The purpose of this
Amendment is to allow for the second year, recommended funding of $54,822.00 (fifty-
four thousand, eight hundred, twenty-two dollars) to be allocated for that Grant for the
below described period .
All terms, conditions , attachments, documents and exhibits as described in the original
Grant are incorporated herein by this reference as fully as if set forth herein.
The term of this Agreement shall commence on January 1, 2019, and continue until
December 31, 2019. Any party may terminate this Agreement by giving thirty (30) days
notice in writing either personally delivered or mailed postage-prepaid by certified mail,
return receipt requested, to the party's last known address for the purposes of giving notice
under this paragraph.
