<br /> <br />KITTITAS COUNTY <br />Board of County Commissioners <br /> <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: May 21, 2019 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) approve and <br />sign the Amended LT-2019-028-Washington State Search and Rescue <br />Conference 2019 Agreement. <br /> <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: The LT-2019-028-KSAR-2019-WA ST Conference was approved by <br />the BOCC during the February 19, 2019 Agenda Session by <br />Resolution 2019-035. There has been some confusion on whether the <br />organization was Kittitas County Search and Rescue (KSAR) or <br />Washington State Search and Rescue Volunteer Advisory Council <br />(SARVAC). <br /> <br />INTERACTION: In the interest of clarity, and after speaking with KSAR <br />representatives and County Deputy Prosecutor, the Agreement was <br />amended to correct a typo and change the name to LT-2019-028- <br />Washington State Search and Rescue Conference 2019. SARVAC <br />even sent a Revenue and Expense Plan for WASARCON 2019, but it <br />was not added to the Agreement due to the fact it was sent after the <br />Agreement had been approved.
