AGENDA STAFF REPORT
AGENDA DATE: May 21, 2019
ACTION REQUESTED: Request the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) approve and
sign a Resolution Amending the 2019 Professional Services
Agreement (PSA) with the Kittitas County Chamber of Commerce.
BACKGROUND: The PSA with Chamber of Commerce (LT-2019-01-PSA-Chamber of
Commerce) was approved by the BOCC during the March 5, 2019
Agenda Session. The Chamber of Commerce sent the Lodging Tax
Advisory Committee an amended scope of work and budget for the
PSA, including language added for the Micro Grant program.
INTERACTION: The County Prosecutor’s office was consulted, request #46262, and
provided a Resolution amending the PSA. The LTAC met in an open
public meeting on May 16, 2019 and discussed the request for an
amendment. The LTAC voted to recommend the BOCC approve a
Resolution amending the PSA with the Chamber of Commerce.
RECOMMENDATION: Request the BOCC approve and sign the attached Resolution
amending the PSA with the Chamber of Commerce.
