RE: Amendment No. 1 to Professional Service Agreement
This Amendment will increase the unit price per gallon of septage land applied to $0.335. This increase
will cover all of the additional labor and materials, including increased quantities of lime, needed to bring
the septage pH up to the required value of 12 for 30 minutes before land applying. In addition it will cover
the additional effort needed to slurry (meaning to mix the contents of lagoons 1 and 2, to such an extent
as is professional appropriate to properly extract while achieving an acceptable pH level as previously
specified) and land apply 642,921 gallons. This Amendment also reflects negotiation of and final
agreement as to any possible impact of “Change Notice “01” as put forth by NRC on May 13, 2019 and no
additional impact is implemented by this Amendment.
