ACTION REQUESTED: Requesting Approval of an Ordinance Adopting Amendments to Kittitas County
Code Title 9
BACKGROUND: On May 7, 2019, the Kittitas County Board of Commissioners conducted a public
hearing to consider proposed amendments to KCC Title 9 regarding ignition or
discharge of fireworks in Kittitas County. At the hearing, the Board approved
the proposed amendments. The attached ordinance would adopt the
amendments, which would not go into effect until May 21, 2020 in accordance
with RCW 70.77.250(4).
INTERACTION: Community Development Services and Board of County Commissioners.
RECOMMENDATION: Approval of the attached ordinance.
