Kittitas County <br />Public Health Department <br /> <br />Agenda Staff Report <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: <br />May 7, 2019 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: <br />The Board of County Commissioners approves the signature of the Kittitas County Public Health <br />Department Administrator on the MOU between Kittitas County Health Network and KCPHD. <br />(Effective dates: Upon signature until terminated by either party upon 30 days notice) <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: <br />The purpose of this MOU is to support the prevention of and treatment for substance use <br />disorders, including opioid use disorder (OUD) in Kittitas County. The MOU lays out the <br />purpose of the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), identifies roles and <br />responsibilities to help implement the Rural Communities Opioid Planning process and overall <br />goal of the program in the community. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: <br />Kittitas County Prosecutor’s Office: Reviewed and approved April 10, 2019. <br />Kittitas County Auditor’s Office: Reviewed and approved April 22, 2019. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />The Board of County Commissioners approves the signature of the Kittitas County Public Health <br />Department Administrator on the MOU between Kittitas County Health Network and KCPHD. <br />(Effective dates: Upon signature until terminated by either party upon 30 days notice) <br /> <br />HANDLING: <br />None <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: <br />Tristen Lamb
