ACTION REQUESTED:
The Board of County Commissioners approves the signature of the Kittitas County Public Health
Department Administrator on the MOU between Kittitas County Health Network and KCPHD.
(Effective dates: Upon signature until terminated by either party upon 30 days notice)
BACKGROUND:
The purpose of this MOU is to support the prevention of and treatment for substance use
disorders, including opioid use disorder (OUD) in Kittitas County. The MOU lays out the
purpose of the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), identifies roles and
responsibilities to help implement the Rural Communities Opioid Planning process and overall
goal of the program in the community.
INTERACTION:
Kittitas County Prosecutor’s Office: Reviewed and approved April 10, 2019.
Kittitas County Auditor’s Office: Reviewed and approved April 22, 2019.
RECOMMENDATION:
The Board of County Commissioners approves the signature of the Kittitas County Public Health
Department Administrator on the MOU between Kittitas County Health Network and KCPHD.
