AGENDA DATE: April 16, 2019
ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Approve a Resolution to Amend Resolution
2018-223 to Include Adobe Road in the Designation and
Classification of "Primitive Roads" within the Lannigan
Springs Subdivision
BACKGROUND: The Board of County Commissioners took action
designating all roadways serving the Lannigan Springs
Subdivision as being Primitive under Resolution 2018-223.
Staff recently discovered that Adobe Road was included on
the site map attached but not included in the text of the
Resolution. We are requesting to amend the previous
Resolution to include Adobe Road.
INTERACTION: Public Works
RECOMMENDATION: Approve the Resolution to Amend Resolution 2018-223 to
Include Adobe Road in the Designation and Classification
of "Primitive Roads" within the Lannigan Springs
Subdivision
HANDLING: Return one original to Public Works

RESOLUTION NO. 2019 -
AMEND RESOLUTION 2018-223 TO INCLUDE "ADOBE ROAD" IN THE
DESIGNATION AND CLASSIFICATION OF "PRIMITIVE ROADS" WITHIN THE
LANNIGAN SPRINGS SUBDIVISION
WHEREAS: The Kittitas County Board of County Commissioners recently established all
internal roadways serving Lannigan Springs Subdivision as public rights of way;
and
WHEREAS: Public Works now desires setting the discretionary maintenance for the Lannigan
Springs Subdivision roadway network; and
WHEREAS: The Kittitas County Board of County Commissioners may establish roads as
"Primitive" pursuant to Revised Code of Washington 36.75.300; and
WHEREAS: Adobe Road was shown on the Exhibit attached to Resolution 2018-223 but not
listed on the referenced Resolution; and
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners, in the
best interest of the public, does hereby amend Resolution 2018-223 to classify and designate:
"Adobe Road" as being "Primitive" pursuant to RCW 36.75.300.
