KITTITAS COUNTY <br />SECURITY COMMITEE <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: March 19, 2019 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: <br /> <br />Changing By-laws to account for Department Structure Change and Meeting Frequency <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: <br /> <br />The Security Committee has determined that the membership should be adjusted to account for <br />change in department structure with the Solid Waste and Maintenance Departments. Giving both <br />department heads a place on the committee. Further it is the belief of the Committee that <br />monthly meetings are not necessar y, and would like quarterly meetings, with the ability to have <br />additional meetings as needed. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: <br />Security Committee <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />I would ask that you approve the attached resolution adopting the language changes in the <br />Security Committee By-laws. <br /> <br />HANDLING: <br />Route one original back to Human Resources. <br /> <br />ATTACHMENTS: <br />1) resolution <br />2) copy of by-laws <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: <br />Pat Gigstead
