Kittitas County <br />Public Health Department <br /> <br />Agenda Staff Report <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: <br />March 19, 2019 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: <br />The Board of County Commissioners approves the signature of the Kittitas County Public Health <br />Administrator on the Letter of Agreement between Kittitas County Health Network (KCHN) and <br />the Kittitas County Public Health Department (KCPHD). (Effective date: 10/01/2018- <br />09/30/2019) <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: <br />The agreement between KCHN and KCPHD establishes the scope of work to be provided by <br />KCPHD. KCPHD will improve access to harm reduction measures through strategic placement <br />and expansion of naloxone distribution and syringe exchange services. KCHN will provide <br />funding in the amount of $9500.00 to be paid in quarterly installments. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: <br />Kittitas County Prosecutor’s Office: Reviewed and approved on March 9, 2019 <br />Kittitas County Auditor’s Office: Reviewed and approved on March 6, 2019 <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />The Board of County Commissioners approves the signature of the Kittitas County Public Health <br />Administrator on the Letter of Agreement between Kittitas County Health Network and the <br />Kittitas County Public Health Department.
