ACTION REQUESTED:
The Board of County Commissioners approves the signature of the Kittitas County Public Health
Administrator on the Letter of Agreement between Kittitas County Health Network (KCHN) and
the Kittitas County Public Health Department (KCPHD). (Effective date: 10/01/2018-
09/30/2019)
BACKGROUND:
The agreement between KCHN and KCPHD establishes the scope of work to be provided by
KCPHD. KCPHD will improve access to harm reduction measures through strategic placement
and expansion of naloxone distribution and syringe exchange services. KCHN will provide
funding in the amount of $9500.00 to be paid in quarterly installments.

Kittitas County Auditor’s Office: Reviewed and approved on March 6, 2019
RECOMMENDATION:
The Board of County Commissioners approves the signature of the Kittitas County Public Health
Administrator on the Letter of Agreement between Kittitas County Health Network and the
Kittitas County Public Health Department. (Effective date: 10/01/2018-09/30/2019)
