RESOLUTION TO A WARD THE BID TO FURNISH
ASPHALT MATERIALS FOR 2019
WHEREAS: A Notice of Call for Bids was approved and signed on February 5, 2019, to
furnish Asphalt Materials for 2019; and
WHEREAS: Sealed bids were opened on February 21, 2019, at 2:00 p.m. at Kittitas County
Public Works and one (1) bid was received; and
WHEREAS: The Public Works Department recommends that the responsible bid of Granite
Construction Company for Schedules "A" and "B" be accepted; and
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners, in the
best interest of the public, doeshereby award the bid for 2019 Asphalt Materials to Granite
Construction Company for Schedules "A" and "B", upon such terms and conditions as
specified in the Proposal submitted by said bidder(s).
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Public Works is authorized to sign the
contract documents upon such terms and conditions specified in the Proposal submitted by said
bidder(s).
