AGENDA STAFF REPORT
AGENDA DATE: March 5, 2019
ACTION REQUESTED: Reappoint Lenny Morrison to the Kittitas
County Water Conservancy Board.
BACKGROUND: Currently there is one vacancy on the Water
Conservancy Board - Alternate #2. As of April
15, 2019 Mr. Morrison’s term will end. Staff
sent a letter notifying Mr. Morrison his term
would be coming to an end on 2/11/19.
INTERACTION: On February 19, 2019 our office received a
letter from Mr. Morrison asking the Board to
consider reappointing him for a full 6 year
term.
RECOMMENDATION: Appoint Mr. Morrison to the Water
Conservancy Board for a six year term effective
immediately and expiring on April 5, 2025.
HANDLING: Staff to notify the Water Conservancy Board
Clerk and Mr. Morrison of the Board’s
decision.
