KITTITAS COUNTY <br />DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br />AGENDA DATE: March 5, 2019 <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Set a Public Hearing for April 2, 2019 at 2pm to <br />consider a Domestic Water Franchise with The Ranch on Swauk <br />Creek on Burke and Ranch Road(s). <br />BACKGROUND: The Ranch on Swauk Creek has applied for a domestic water <br />franchise to install waterlines along Ranch Road and Burke Road <br />to service properties in the area. Upon approval of the domestic <br />water franchise, a right of way permit will be required to conduct <br />the proposed work. <br />The Franchise Application is complete and the appropriate <br />application fee has been collected. <br />INTERACTION: Public Works <br />RECOMMENDATION: Set a public hearing on April 2, 2019 at 2:00 pm and advertise <br />accordingly, to consider a domestic water franchise with The <br />Ranch on Swank Creek along Burke Road and Ranch Road. <br />ATTACHMENTS: Franchise Application <br />LEAD STAFF: Mark Cook <br />Director of Public Works <br />
