AGENDA STAFF REPORT
AGENDA DATE: February 19, 2019
ACTION REQUESTED: Request the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) approve and
sign the 2019 Lodging Tax Services Agreements as awarded by
Resolution No. 2019-
BACKGROUND: The Consolidated Lodging Tax work group met on November 16,
2018 in an open public meeting to deliberate and reach their final
funding recommendation which was forwarded to each legislative
body for final approval. The Group recommended allocating
$237,584.50 of Lodging Tax funds for special events and projects.
INTERACTION: Kittitas County’s designation is $136,041.50, Ellensburg’s
designation is $76,570.00, Cle Elum’s designation is $24,318.00,
Roslyn’s designation is $655.00. The BOCC approved disbursement
of funds from the Lodging Tax fund through Resolution 2019-____.
The cities of Ellensburg, Cle Elum and Roslyn also approved
resolutions allocating their lodging tax disbursements.
RECOMMENDATION: Request the BOCC approve and sign the attached 2019 Lodging Tax
Services Agreements LT-2019-001 through LT-2019-028.
