KITTITAS COUNTY <br />Board of County Commissioners <br /> <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br /> <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: February 19, 2019 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) review and <br />approve a Resolution and Amendment to Grant Agreement HH-2018- <br />001 with HopeSource, Housing Authority of Kittitas County and <br />Elmview, for Housing Authority Supportive Services (HASS). <br /> <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: The BOCC approved and signed an Agreement with HopeSource, <br />Housing Authority of Kittitas County and Elmview, for HASS which <br />was effective January 1, 2018 and scheduled to terminate on <br />December 31, 2018 in the amount of $117,225.00. As of this date, <br />only a portion of the allocated sum has been spent. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: The Homelessness and Affordable Housing Committee (HAHC) was <br />contacted by HopeSource representatives and asked if the HH-2018- <br />001 Grant Agreement could be extended to terminate on December <br />31, 2019, so they could utilize the remainder of their grant funding. <br />The HAHC voted to recommend to the BOCC amending the <br />Agreement to terminate on 1-31-19. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: Review and approve a Resolution and Amendment to Grant <br />Agreement HH-2018-001 with HopeSource, Housing Authority of <br />Kittitas County and Elmview, for HASS. <br /> <br />HANDLING: Original – Clerk of the Board <br /> Copy – Homelessness and Affordable Housing Committee <br /> Copy-Auditor <br /> <br />ATTACHMENTS: Grant Agreement HH-2018-001 <br /> Draft Resolution <br /> HH-2018-001-Amendment <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: Debbie Myers, Clerk <br /> Homelessness and Affordable Housing Committee <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
