AGENDA STAFF REPORT
AGENDA DATE: February 19, 2019
ACTION REQUESTED: Request the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) review and
approve a Resolution and Amendment to Grant Agreement HH-2018-
001 with HopeSource, Housing Authority of Kittitas County and
Elmview, for Housing Authority Supportive Services (HASS).
BACKGROUND: The BOCC approved and signed an Agreement with HopeSource,
Housing Authority of Kittitas County and Elmview, for HASS which
was effective January 1, 2018 and scheduled to terminate on
December 31, 2018 in the amount of $117,225.00. As of this date,
only a portion of the allocated sum has been spent.
INTERACTION: The Homelessness and Affordable Housing Committee (HAHC) was
contacted by HopeSource representatives and asked if the HH-2018-
001 Grant Agreement could be extended to terminate on December
31, 2019, so they could utilize the remainder of their grant funding.
The HAHC voted to recommend to the BOCC amending the
Agreement to terminate on 1-31-19.
RECOMMENDATION: Review and approve a Resolution and Amendment to Grant
Agreement HH-2018-001 with HopeSource, Housing Authority of
Kittitas County and Elmview, for HASS.
