BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
COUNTY OF KITTITAS
STATE OF WASHINGTON
RESOLUTION NO. 2019-________
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AMENDMENT TO HOMELESS
HOUSING GRANT AGREEMENT HH-2018-001.
WHEREAS, The Kittitas County Board of Commissioners and HopeSource,
Housing Authority of Kittitas County, and Elmview had previously entered into a
Homeless Housing Program Grant Agreement, and
WHEREAS, HopeSource, Housing Authority of Kittitas County, and Elmview has
not yet expended the total sum of the amount granted to them in that Agreement, and
WHEREAS, The Kittitas County Board of Commissioners has previously
determined that the purposes of RCW 36.22.179 are consistent with the needs of certain
members of the Kittitas County Community, and
WHEREAS, The Kittitas County Board of Commissioners has previously
determined that HopeSource, Housing Authority of Kittitas County, and Elmview are
proper entities by which to carry out the purposes of RCW 36.22.179, and
WHEREAS, The Kittitas County Board of Commissioners and HopeSource,
Housing Authority of Kittitas County, and Elmview wish to continue to cooperate in doing
so, and
WHEREAS, amendment of HH2018-001 to extend its term to December 31,
2019 as allowed by its provisions will enable that cooperation,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AND IT IS HEREBY ORDERED, that the
Amendment Agreement pursuant to Section 10.8 of Grant HH2018-001 is hereby
adopted upon signature by the parties.
