AGENDA DATE: February 19, 2019
ACTION REQUESTED: Requesting Approval of an Ordinance Amending the Kittitas County Shoreline
Master Program and Kittitas County Code.
BACKGROUND: On January 14, 2019, Washington State Department of Ecology granted final
approval to the county’s approved Shoreline Master Program (SMP)
amendments. The attached ordinance would amendment the SMP and would
amend Kittitas County Code Title 17B for consistency with the SMP
Amendments.
INTERACTION: Community Development Services, Prosecuting Attorney, and Board of County
Commissioners.
RECOMMENDATION: Approval of the attached ordinance.
