ACTION REQUESTED:
The Board of County Commissioners approves the signature of the Public Health Administrator
on the Health Care Authority Contract Amendment for Prevention Services with KCPHD
(DBHR). (Effective dates: 01.01.19-06.30.19)
BACKGROUND:
The purpose of this amendment is to continue the coordination and implementation of prevention
programs and strategies designed to prevent or delay the misuse and abuse of alcohol, marijuana,
tobacco, and other drugs, increase mental health promotion, and prevent suicide. Program target
populations and focus area are dependent on funding source and specific funded exhibits.
INTERACTION:
Kittitas County Prosecutor’s Office: Reviewed and approved January 23, 2019.
Kittitas County Auditor’s Office: Reviewed and approved February 4, 2019.
RECOMMENDATION:
The Board of County Commissioners approves the signature of the Public Health Administrator
on the Health Care Authority Contract Amendment for Prevention Services with KCPHD
(DBHR). (Effective dates: 01.01.19-06.30.19)
