Kittitas County <br />Public Health Department <br /> <br />Agenda Staff Report <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: <br />February 19, 2019 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: <br />The Board of County Commissioners approves the signature of the Public Health Administrator <br />on the Health Care Authority Contract Amendment for Prevention Services with KCPHD <br />(DBHR). (Effective dates: 01.01.19-06.30.19) <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: <br />The purpose of this amendment is to continue the coordination and implementation of prevention <br />programs and strategies designed to prevent or delay the misuse and abuse of alcohol, marijuana, <br />tobacco, and other drugs, increase mental health promotion, and prevent suicide. Program target <br />populations and focus area are dependent on funding source and specific funded exhibits. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: <br />Kittitas County Prosecutor’s Office: Reviewed and approved January 23, 2019. <br />Kittitas County Auditor’s Office: Reviewed and approved February 4, 2019. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />The Board of County Commissioners approves the signature of the Public Health Administrator <br />on the Health Care Authority Contract Amendment for Prevention Services with KCPHD <br />(DBHR).
