BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />ST A TE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLU TIO N <br />TO A WARD THE BID TO FURNISH MAINTENANCE ROCK MATERIALS FOR ONE <br />(1) CALENDAR YEAR FOLLOWING CONTRACT EXECUTION AND AUTHORIZE <br />THE PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR TO SIGN CONTRACT DOCUMENTS <br />WHEREAS: A N otice of Call for Bids was approved and signed on January 15 , 2019, to <br />furnish Maintenance Rock Materials for 2019; and <br />WHEREAS: Sealed bids were opened on January 29 , 2019 at 2:00 pm in the Kittitas County <br />Public Works Office and one (1) bid was received ; and <br />WHEREAS: The Public Works Department recommends that the responsible bid of Ellensburg <br />Cement Products , Inc. be accepted for Schedules "A ", "B " and "C " for <br />Maintenance Rock Materials for one (1) calendar year following contract <br />execution; and <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners, in the <br />best interest of the public , does hereby award the bid for 2019 Maintenance Rock Materials to <br />Ellensburg Cement Products , Inc . for Schedules "A ", "B ", and "C ", upon such terms and <br />conditions as specified in the Proposal submitted by said bidder(s); and <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Public Works is authorized to sign the <br />contract documents upon such terms and conditions specified in the Proposal submitted by said <br />bidder(s). <br />DATED this 5th day of February, 2019, at Ellensburg , Washington. <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHING TON <br />ABSENT <br />D Deputy Clerk of the Board-Mandy Buchholz <br />' '
