AUTHORIZING THE CHAIR'S SIGNATURE ON AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO TASK
ORDER NO. 1 WITH JACOBS ENGINEERING FOR GENERAL ENVIRONMENT AL
AND PLANNING ASSISTANCE
WHEREAS: Jacobs E ngineering is currently a Engineering service provider to Public Works
selected from County procurement proces s in 2017 ; and
WHEREAS: Task Order No. 1 with Jacobs provides for on-call general environmental and
planning assistance; and
WHEREAS: The initial task order ($50,000) is nearing completion and PW desires
supplementing the original task order ; and
WHEREAS: The current Six Year Transportation Improvement Plan contains projects that
have not ye t been evaluated for possible permitting requirements ; and
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners, in the
best interest of the public , does hereby authorize the Chair 's signature on Amendment No. 1 to
Jacobs Engineering Task Order No. 1 -General Environmental and Planning Assistance .
