AGENDA DATE: February 5, 2019
ACTION REQUESTED: Approval of Professional Services Agreement with SCJ Alliance for Consulting
Services for the Comprehensive Plan Update
BACKGROUND: The attached contract would replace the previous contract with SCJ Alliance and
would allow for completion of the periodic update of the Comprehensive Plan by
the June 30, 2019 deadline. The scope of work includes reviewing the current
draft against the Department of Commerce checklist for periodic updates, preparing
a revised draft, public outreach and stakeholder engagement, and assistance with
the adoption process. This is a time and materials contract with a total maximum
fee of $60,421.

RECOMMENDATION: Approve the Professional Services Agreement with SCJ Alliance
