RESOLUTION NO. 2019-__________
RESOLUTION TO ALLOW KITTITAS VALLEY EVENT CENTER AND KITTITAS COUNTY FAIR TO FORGIVE
$1552.36 IN UNCOLLECTIBLE DEBT
WHEREAS: On behalf of the Director, the Office Manager of the Kittitas Valley Event Center tracks
and issues monthly statements for monies owed; and,
WHEREAS: Unpaid debts are sent to Evergreen Financial Services, Inc. for collection after 90 to 120
days of no payment; and,
WHEREAS: The Director and Office Manager of the Kittitas Valley Event Center have reviewed the
December 12, 2018 report from Evergreen Financial Services, and following consultation with Judy
Pless, Budget & Finance Manager with the Auditor’s office, have found the following accounts to be
uncollectible:
KVEC 07/11/2014 Patty Moore Returned Uncollectible $122.80
KVEC 01/01/2007 Michael Westbrook Returned Uncollectible $15.00
KVEC 05/01/2010 MJG Entertainment Returned Uncollectible $1138.56
FAIR 09/01/2011 Jennifer Mallick Returned Uncollectible $80.00
FAIR 09/01/2003 Jacquelyn Sandvig Returned Uncollectible $41.00
FAIR 01/01/2007 Kimbery Gallagher Returned Uncollectible $90.00
FAIR 07/20/2005 Hammond Family Returned Uncollectible $65.00
TOTAL $1,552.36
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners, after due
consideration, does hereby forgive the unpaid debts in the amount of $1,552.36 as listed above
payable to the Kittitas Valley Event Center and the Kittitas County Facilities Maintenance.
