BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2019-__________ <br /> <br /> <br />RESOLUTION TO ALLOW KITTITAS VALLEY EVENT CENTER AND KITTITAS COUNTY FAIR TO FORGIVE <br />$1552.36 IN UNCOLLECTIBLE DEBT <br /> <br />WHEREAS: On behalf of the Director, the Office Manager of the Kittitas Valley Event Center tracks <br />and issues monthly statements for monies owed; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS: Unpaid debts are sent to Evergreen Financial Services, Inc. for collection after 90 to 120 <br />days of no payment; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS: The Director and Office Manager of the Kittitas Valley Event Center have reviewed the <br />December 12, 2018 report from Evergreen Financial Services, and following consultation with Judy <br />Pless, Budget & Finance Manager with the Auditor’s office, have found the following accounts to be <br />uncollectible: <br /> <br />KVEC 07/11/2014 Patty Moore Returned Uncollectible $122.80 <br />KVEC 01/01/2007 Michael Westbrook Returned Uncollectible $15.00 <br />KVEC 05/01/2010 MJG Entertainment Returned Uncollectible $1138.56 <br />FAIR 09/01/2011 Jennifer Mallick Returned Uncollectible $80.00 <br />FAIR 09/01/2003 Jacquelyn Sandvig Returned Uncollectible $41.00 <br />FAIR 01/01/2007 Kimbery Gallagher Returned Uncollectible $90.00 <br />FAIR 07/20/2005 Hammond Family Returned Uncollectible $65.00 <br /> TOTAL $1,552.36 <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners, after due <br />consideration, does hereby forgive the unpaid debts in the amount of $1,552.36 as listed above <br />payable to the Kittitas Valley Event Center and the Kittitas County Facilities Maintenance. <br /> <br />Adopted this ______________ day of __________________________, 2019. <br /> <br />ATTEST: BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br /> KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br /> <br />________________________________ <br /> Cory Wright, Chairman <br /> <br />________________________________ ________________________________ <br /> Julie A.
