KITTITAS COUNTY <br />DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br />AGENDA DATE: February 5, 2019 <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Conduct a Public Hearing to consider amending <br />Kittitas County Code Section 10.08.010 Speed <br />Limits and Section 10. 12.010 Stops and Yields for <br />Game Bird Loop and Sage Grouse Lane <br />BACKGROUND: On November 4, 2018 the Board of County Commissioners <br />approved Resolution 2018-196 adopting Game Bird Loop <br />and Sage Grouse Lane onto the Kittitas County Road <br />System. At the time of adoption the speed limit and <br />signage was not established. Public Works is <br />recommending setting said speed limit at twenty-five miles <br />per hour and placing appropriate signage on Game Bird <br />Loop and on Sage Grouse Lane. A redline markup of KCC <br />10.08.010 Speed Limits and KCC 10.12.010 Stops and <br />Yields is provided for BOCC consideration. <br />INTERACTION: Public Works <br />RECOMMENDATION: Amend Kittitas County Code Section 10.08.010 <br />Speed Limits and Section 10. 12.010 Stops and <br />Yields for Game Bird Loop and Sage Grouse Lane. <br />HANDLING: Return one original Ordinance to Public Works <br />ATTACHMENTS: Ordinance <br />LEAD STAFF: Mark R.
