KITTITAS COUNTY <br />DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br />AGENDA DATE: February 5, 2019 <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Conduct a Public Hearing to consider amending <br />Kittitas County Code Section 10.08.010 (Speed <br />Limits) to establish a Speed Limit for Meadow Way <br />BACKGROUND: On October 8, 2018 the Board of County Commissioners <br />approved Resolution 2018-161 adopting Meadow Way <br />onto the Kittitas County Road System. At the time of <br />adoption a speed limit was not established. Public Works <br />is recommending setting said speed limit on Meadow Way <br />from Milepost 0.0 to Milepost 0.17 at twenty-five miles per <br />hour and placing appropriate signage. A redline markup of <br />KCC 10.08.010 is provided for BOCC consideration. <br />INTERACTION: Public Works <br />RECOMMENDATION: Amend Kittitas County Code Section 10.08.010 <br />Speed Limits to establish a Speed Limit for <br />Meadow Way. <br />HANDLING: Return one Ordinance to Public Works <br />ATTACHMENTS: Ordinance <br />LEAD STAFF: Mark R.
