KITTITAS COUNTY <br />DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br />AGENDA DATE: February 5, 2019 <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Approve County Road Project for the <br />Replacement of Big Boulder Creek Bridge. <br />BACKGROUND: A trailhead at the end of Big Boulder Creek Road <br />has compromised access due to deteriorating <br />transportation infrastructure. It is a non -highway <br />road in Okanogan -Wenatchee National Forest that <br />many people use for recreational access. Work will <br />replace the existing Big Boulder Creek Bridge. <br />INTERACTION: Public Works <br />RECOMMENDATION: Approve the Resolution Authorizing the <br />replacement of Big Boulder Creek Bridge. <br />HANDLING: Return one (1) original to Public Works <br />ATTACHMENTS: Resolution <br />LEAD STAFF: Mark Cook, Director <br />
