AUTHORIZING CHAIR SIGNATURE ON THE DIGITAL SUBMITTAL OF LEVY
CERTIFICATION TO THE COUNTY ROAD ADMINISTRATION BOARD
WHEREAS: Kittitas County Board of County Commissioners has met and considered its
budget for the Calendar Year 2019; and
WHEREAS: Kittitas County Board of County Commissioners has resolved (Resolution 2018-
192) the levying certification for the County Road for municipal purposes of
Kittitas County; and
WHEREAS: Kittitas County Department of Public Works is required (WAC 136-04) to submit
an Annual Digital Certification to the County Road Administration Board
(Exhibit I) and;
WHEREAS: The County Road Administration Board Digital Submittal Certification requires
Board of County Commissioners Chair signature; and
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners, after due
consideration and in the best interest of the public , does hereby move to approve Chair Signature
on the Digital Submittal Certification to the County Road Administration Board.

Note: WAC 136-150-021 provides that "The CRABoard will request that every county legislative authority submit a
certification showing the amount of the road levy fixed and the amount, if any, budgeted in accordance with RCW
36.33 .220 for traffic law enforcement and/or any other purpose from diverted road levy no later than February 1st of each
year".

A Resolution for the levying certification for the County Road
for municipal purposes of Kittitas County, Washington for the year 2019 according
to the assessed valuation as determined in the year 2018.
WHEREAS, Kittitas County Board of County Commissioners has met and considered its budget for
the calendar year 2019; and
WHEREAS, the Kittitas County Board of County Commissioners, after hearing and after duly
considering all releva nt evidence a nd testimony presented, and
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, in accorda nc e with RCW 84 .52.020, the Board of County
Commiss ione rs for Kittitas County, do hereby certify that the following levy amounts be coll ecte d in 2019 as
provided in the County's budget, which was adopted following a public hearing held on December 3rd 2018:
County Road $5,500,000
NOW, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, the Board of County Commissioners does hereby authorlze a
County Road Diversion to the General Fun d in the amount of $220,000 and a levy sh iftfrom County Road to
the General Fund In the amount of $890,097.
