RESOLUTION
NO:2019-008
A RESOLUTION TO RECLASSIFY THE UPPER KITTITAS COUNTY JUDGE POSITION
WHEREAS: Resolution No 91-102 established the process by which the salaries for the Judges of the
Upper and Lower Kittitas County District Courts are set; and
WHEREAS: The Upper Kittitas County District Court Judge position is currently classified as having
69% of a full-time workload; and
WHEREAS: The Upper Kittitas County District Court Judge position has been reclassified by the
Office of the Administrator of the Courts as a position with a workload of 100%; and
WHEREAS: The Upper Kittitas County District Court Judge determined that an increase to 80% FTE
was adequate for 2019, and the Board of County Commissioners approved funding at
80%;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: that the Upper Kittitas County District Court Judge position is
hereby changed from 69% of a full-time position to 80% of a full-time position effective January 1, 2019
and shall be compensated commensurately.
