ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Set a Public Hearing for February 5,
2019 at 2pm to consider amending Kittitas County
Code Section 10.08.010 Speed Limits and Section
10.12.010 Stops and Yields for Game Bird Loop
and Sage Grouse Lane
BACKGROUND: On November 4, 2018 the Board of County Commissioners
approved Resolution 2018-196 Adopting Game Bird Loop
and Sage Grouse Lane onto the Kittitas County Road
System. At the time of adoption the speed limit and
signage was not established. Public Works is now
requesting to set a Public Hearing to establish said speed
limit and appropriate signage on Game Bird Loop from
Milepost 0.0 to Milepost 0.61 and on Sage Grouse Lane
from Milepost 0.0 to Milepost 0.14.
INTERACTION: Public Works
RECOMMENDATION: Set a Public Hearing for February 5, 2019 at
2:00pm to consider amending Kittitas County Code
Section 10.08.010 Speed Limits and Section
10. 12.010 Stops and Yields Game Bird Loop and
Sage Grouse Lane.
HANDLING: Return one Notice of Public Hearing to Public Works
