AGENDA DATE: January 15, 2019
ACTION REQUESTED: Approve a Memorandum of Agreement with the Evergreen
Forest County Group, A Rural Public Lands County
Council Affiliate.
BACKGROUND: Staff was previously directed by the Board of County
Commissioners to place the Memorandum of Agreement
between Robert K. Weidner and Kittitas County onto an
Agenda once the 2019 budget had been adopted. The
proposed Memorandum of Agreement is for Mr. Weidner
to serve as the Washington D.C. government relation's
advisor to Kittitas County and other counties of the
Evergreen Forest County Group, a Rural Public Lands
County Council Affiliate.
INTERACTION: Judy Pless, Budget & Finance Manager confirmed the
amount is in the 2019 budget. The Prosecutors office
previously approved the same Memorandum of Agreement
via Camas #40827.
RECOMMENDATION: Approve a Memorandum of Agreement between Robert K.
Weidner and Kittitas County in the amount of $10,000.00
to serve as the Washington, D.C. government relations
advisor to Kittitas County and other counties of the
Evergreen Forest County Group from January 1, 2019
through December 31, 2019.
