Kittitas County  <br />Board of County Commissioners  <br />  <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT  <br />  <br />Agenda Date:  January 15, 2019  <br />  <br />Action Requested:  Request to Approve a Resolution Authorizing the Chairman’s  <br />Signature on a Consolidated Communications Customer Service  <br />Agreement  <br />  <br />  <br />  <br />Background:  On September 4, 2018 the Kittitas County Board of Commissioners  <br />awarded the RFP for VoIP Phone Systems and Services to Ednetics.  <br />Converting phone lines from analog to VoIP provides for a reduction  <br />in analog lines required to conduct county business. Some analog  <br />lines must remain in service to perform necessary functions, such as  <br />credit card machines and alarm notifications. The agreement reduces  <br />the analog lines from 520 to 49 and trunks from 35 to 10.  <br />  <br />Interaction:  Prosecuting Attorney’s Office (SR# 45048)  <br />     <br />Recommendation:  Sign the attached resolution and agreement.  <br />  <br />Handling:  Return 2 signed agreement copies to Jim Goeben. One fully executed  <br />copy will be returned to the Clerk.  <br />  <br />Attachments:  Resolution  <br />Consolidated Communications Customer Service Agreement  <br />  <br />Lead Staff:  Jim Goeben, IT Director
