AGENDA DATE: January 2, 2019
ACTION REQUESTED: Board of County Commissioners signature of the Resolution approving the Talisman
Townhomes Preliminary Plat (LP-18-00003).
BACKGROUND: Theo Leonard, authorized agent for Talisman Townhomes LLC, landowner, submitted an
application for a 24 residential lot plat with an access tract and three community open space
tracts on approximately 1.27 acres of land that is zoned Master Planned Resort.
The subject property is located off of Big Hill DR. in a portion of Section 19, T20N, R15E,
WM, in Kittitas County, Assessor’s map number 20-15-19057-0005, Parcel #956001.
The Board of County Commissioners conducted an open record hearing on December 18,
2018 at 2pm. There were three members of the public in attendance at the hearing, none of
whom provided comment during the hearing. A motion was made and seconded by the
BOCC to approve the proposal as presented by staff and for staff to prepare the enabling
documents. The motion was approved by a vote of 2-0. Commissioner Obie O’Brien was
not present.
INTERACTION: CDS Staff and BOCC
RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends the Kittitas County Board of County Commissioners sign the resolution
for the Talisman Townhomes Preliminary Plat (LP-18-00003).
HANDLING: Return signed resolution to CDS Staff for issuance of the Notice of Decision.
