Ruby St., Suite 2, Ellensburg, WA 98926 <br />CDS@CO.KITTITAS.WA.US <br />Office (509) 962-7506 <br />Fax (509) 962-7682 <br /> <br />“Building Partnerships – Building Communities” <br /> <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br /> <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: January 2, 2019 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Board of County Commissioners signature of the Resolution approving the Talisman <br />Townhomes Preliminary Plat (LP-18-00003). <br /> <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: Theo Leonard, authorized agent for Talisman Townhomes LLC, landowner, submitted an <br />application for a 24 residential lot plat with an access tract and three community open space <br />tracts on approximately 1.27 acres of land that is zoned Master Planned Resort. <br /> <br /> The subject property is located off of Big Hill DR. in a portion of Section 19, T20N, R15E, <br />WM, in Kittitas County, Assessor’s map number 20-15-19057-0005, Parcel #956001. <br /> <br /> The Board of County Commissioners conducted an open record hearing on December 18, <br />2018 at 2pm. There were three members of the public in attendance at the hearing, none of <br />whom provided comment during the hearing. A motion was made and seconded by the <br />BOCC to approve the proposal as presented by staff and for staff to prepare the enabling <br />documents. The motion was approved by a vote of 2-0. Commissioner Obie O’Brien was <br />not present. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: CDS Staff and BOCC <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends the Kittitas County Board of County Commissioners sign the resolution <br />for the Talisman Townhomes Preliminary Plat (LP-18-00003). <br /> <br />HANDLING: Return signed resolution to CDS Staff for issuance of the Notice of Decision. <br /> <br />ATTACHMENTS: Resolution for signatures. <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: Jeremy Johnston, Planner
