Ruby St., Suite 2, Ellensburg, WA 98926 <br />CDS@CO.KITTITAS.WA.US <br />Office (509) 962-7506 <br />Fax (509) 962-7682 <br /> <br /> <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: December 18, 2018 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Adopting by Ordinance the 2018 Annual Docket Amendments to Kittitas County <br />Code and Comprehensive Plan Approved by the Board of County <br />Commissioners <br /> <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: The County is amending Kittitas County Code and Comprehensive Plan through <br />the annual docketing procedure required by KCC 15B.03.030. <br /> <br />The Kittitas County Planning Commission held a public hearing on October 23, <br />2018 to consider 10 proposed amendments to Kittitas County Code and/or <br />Comprehensive Plan, there were originally 11 items, however one (1) was <br />removed from the Docket prior to the Planning Commission Hearing. All of the <br />items were recommended for approval, some with amendments, to the Kittitas <br />County Board of Commissioners. <br /> <br />The Kittitas County Board of County Commissioners held an open public <br />hearing on December 4, 2018, during which public testimony was taken from <br />those persons wishing to be heard regarding the docket items being considered. <br />At the public hearing and after deliberation of the proposed items, the Board of <br />County Commissioners approved, or approved with amendment, nine (9) of the <br />items. The Commissioners at the hearing directed staff to prepare enabling <br />documents for the docket items. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: Community Development Services, Public Works, Prosecuting Attorney, and <br />Board of County Commissioners. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: Adopt the Ordinance regarding Kittitas County’s 2018 Annual Docket items as <br />approved by the Board of Commissioners during the public hearing on December <br />4, 2018. <br /> <br />ATTACHMENTS: Enabling Ordinance with Exhibits <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: Lindsey Ozbolt, Community Development Services Planning Official
